Here is our weather forecast for the upcoming long weekend. We're 2000 feet above Trail, so it won't be quite that hot, but still, I am looking forward to getting outside and reading on the lawn (with my SPF 30 sunscreen and sun hat) with my MP3 player going, soaking up those rays. I'm not a sun worshipper by any stretch of the imagination, but this has been one loooooooooong, cold spring. Hopefully after this weekend, I can get my garden planted, too. But knowing my luck, we'll have a frost just after I plant.
Edit @ 3:31pm: I am already sick of the heat, and am dreading having to go to Trail at all in the next three months.

Wow, that's even hotter than our forecast! I'm so glad that I was able to get out and plant last weekend before it got too hot. Now, if only we'd get some rain (the city hasn't turned on our water in the garden yet). Take lots of pictures! I can't wait to see your garden!
It's supposed to rain for all 3 days...but guess who took the whole week off?
Yahoo.
I hope you get your garden planted, WC.
We're having that heat wave, too. I was dreading it and now I'm in it. Yuck. Today wasn't so bad but tomorrow is predicted to be worse.
I hope it really does cool off as forecast. It's too soon for this hot stuff.
its suppose to be 70 Degrees F next week here. I am looking forward to being able to go outside with the girls when I am awake and reading and playing with them.
It was nice and sunny here in London last week-ends...but this week-ends we are back with having the duvet on the bed at night... awwwwww :( :( :(
Sick of the heat? Oh, Coyote, you are a north country girl - for sure! The sun will activate some needed vitamins which probably are dormant from such a long winter!
Even down here, we had a longer, cooler "spring" than usual. BUt we've already had a 90 degree day which is sort of the hottest summer range. Weird. We've also had days of rain and tornado warnings - it is making me nervous concerning the upcoming hurricane season.
I love having friends from all over who post photos - I've always thought your area is so beautiful - what a beautiful, variety-filled world we live in.
